Notting Hill Carnival 2016

This year marked 50 years of Notting Hill Carnival in London! The streets were crowded, music was blasting and soul food was served to celebrate the vibrant and lively culture of Afro-Caribbeans living in London.

*SEE THE FULL VIDEO HERE*

Finally reaching Notting Hill, after a heavily packed trains with tooting horns and festive antics, I was really excited to join my  FIRST EVER carnival celebration! It was amazing to see how diverse the celebration was and the amount of laughs and crazy dancing that was taking place.

Following the parade, there were so many different sections to this carnival: Brazilian dancers, Jamaican musicians and also a few Indian and Oriental costumes.

After seeing so many Caribbean inspired outfits I know that next year I HAVE to step up my game and really go all out to this event...even after hours of walking around I definitely can't wait for next years Carnival with my friends!
